So after 3 weeks I finally got out of the hospital. I still have to stay in Cleveland for 1 month, but at least it’s not the hospital! When I got home(temporary home), my husband and daughter had a huge balloon surprise for me! Hehe I felt like the winner of a game show!
But yeah, I seem to still believe I’m in the hospital. I’ll wake up in the middle of the night and try to call the nurse to use the bathroom. My poor mother has to remind me that we are no longer there! I didn’t realize how much a hospital stay screws you up. They say for every day in the hospital, it takes 2 days to recover. So this will be a LONG 6 weeks!
So I was talking to everyone around me, and didn’t realize how bad I was. Apparently, I was too medicated!! 😜
Here are some outside perspectives:
Husband: You would text every morning with updates and then suddenly the updates stopped.
Mother: You’re breathing was so scary! You made gurgling noises, and you wouldn’t let go of my hand!
Father: Is this treatment worth it?
Nurse: You didn’t want me to leave the room! You were so scared.
Receptionist: Hey! I can understand you now! (Apparently I couldn’t speak well)
Physical Therapist: wow! It’s good to see you awake and not out of it!
Thankfully with the help of my daughter’s super powers, I made it out of there!
Now I feel like a baby who was reborn! I am trying to learn how to eat normal food again. After 10 days of not eating, you’re body forgets😋
So happy to be home in Cleveland with these guys!
Glad to hear you are back home. Love and prayers again.
